Questions will be
answered in the paragraph:
Imagine telling a local elder person, talk to me about camels and,
what does it mean to you? Things get more interesting. Camels are one of the
strongest animals ever created by God. One of the components of their strength
is that they could keep their water for a month without getting thirsty. Our
grandfathers had been using them for transportation and loading heavy
materials. Over the years the Gulf region got wealthy so they started buying
some cars that had machines, which was something they had not thought of. The UAE
and KSA particularly concentrated on camels, because they appreciated what they
did for them and it is a part of their culture.
I have interviewed one of the lovers of camels Abdullah Butti Saif
Al Marar,; he is 88 years old. He owned 23 female camels. Two of his camels won
2 races and actually got 2.5 million
from the race. It not that amazing? He said I got into this business after I
saw that I owned camels and I fed them very well and I kept them in perfect
health. Regarding government, he
said the government was so helpful to me;
they provided me with a free place to look after my camels in a safe
environment and provided some food and water for free. In 2008 there was a vast
event in Al Ain he participated and got the third place, which was surprising
to him; why third place? Moreover, this is his life and he is proud and happy
about it.
